Although constructed in 1929, 1420 North Lake Shore Drive is one of Chicago’s most prestigious rental addresses. This 20-story apartment building still retains its original gothic-revival structure.
Scope of Services
CDC and its predecessor firm have been providing exterior wall consulting services to 1420 North Lake Shore Drive continuously since 1991, including a three-year exterior masonry restoration project and a one-year window replacement project. CDC continues to provide 1420 with bi-annual observations of the exterior masonry and windows, and ongoing consultation on exterior architectural and structural matters.
