Project Description

The Los Angeles Gateway Enhancement project consists of thirty-one glass towers spaced at 200-foot intervals along Sepulveda and Century Boulevards, serving as a gateway into Los Angeles. Each pylon stands 120 feet tall and is 12 feet in diameter. The pylons are made out of white, opaque glass and contain computerized lighting that changes colors throughout the night.

Scope of Services

CDC provided complete design engineering and detailing services on this project including curved glass analysis, structural glass framing, custom seismic anchors and vortex lock-in analysis.
