Project Description

This 20-story, office building contains 600,000 square feet of space. The tower slants at nine degrees over the restaurants, retail spaces, and parking garage below. The project is estimated to cost $200 million.

Scope of Services

CDC was the single-source, full building envelope Consultant to the Architect for this highrise office development in Dallas. During the Design Development and Construction Documents phases, CDC performed drawing technical review, detail development and performance based specification writing for the building facade, below grade waterproofing, and roofing systems. During the Construction Administration phase, CDC reviewed Contractor submissions including shop drawings, structural calculations, and technical data, to confirm compliance with project specifications and design goals; provided in-plant observation of facade system assembly and glazing; performed on-site observation during facade, roofing and waterproofing system installation; and provided observation of water penetration testing for facade and roofing systems.
